Audio Downloader

Download the audio from any link

Paste a link to a page that plays a video or a sound clip. The page is scanned for the media stored inside it, and the sound is saved as an MP3 or M4A without the video.

Reads the media out of the page itself, so it works on ordinary pages, not just a handful of social sites.

FAQ

Audio downloader questions

How does it find the audio?

It fetches the page and reads the media URL from where pages store it: audio and video players, Open Graph tags, JSON-LD metadata, and inline player settings. When it finds a video, it keeps only the sound.

Does this run in my browser?

Partly. A browser cannot read another site's page, so finding the media uses a small server step. Turning it into an MP3 or M4A happens in your browser.

MP3 or M4A?

MP3 plays on anything. M4A is often the page's own sound copied with no quality lost, and it is smaller for the same quality.

Why does it say nothing was found?

Some sites only load their media after the page opens, so there is nothing in the page to find. Feed-style social apps and music services are the usual cases, and DRM-protected media cannot be saved.

Can I download anything I want with this?

Only download audio you have the right to keep. Respect copyright and each site's terms of service.
