FAQ
Video trimming questions
Does trimming reduce quality?
Not in Fast mode — it copies the original video and audio untouched. Exact mode re-encodes, which loses a small amount.
Why did my cut land slightly off?
Fast mode can only cut on keyframes, which may be up to a second apart. Switch to Exact for a frame-accurate cut.
Can I cut a section out of the middle?
Not yet — trimming keeps one continuous section. Run it twice and join the pieces elsewhere if you need to remove a middle chunk.
