Why is the first run slow to start?
The video engine is a one-time 32 MB download. After that it stays cached and later jobs start immediately.
How big a file can I edit?
Up to 500 MB. Browsers cap how much memory a page can use, and larger files fail rather than finishing slowly.
Why do some operations finish instantly and others take minutes?
Trimming, muting, and repackaging copy the existing video stream untouched. Compressing, resizing, and rotating have to re-encode every frame, which is far slower.
What is the difference between Fast and Exact trimming?
Fast copies the streams and cuts at the nearest keyframe, so it is instant but can land up to a second off. Exact re-encodes to cut at the precise frame.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, though phones have less memory and slower processors, so stick to shorter clips and smaller files.
