Download the video stored in a page

Paste a page link and this tool looks inside the page for the video it holds, then lists every quality it finds with a direct download for each.

FAQ

Video downloader questions

How does it find the video?

It fetches the page and reads the video URL out of the places pages store it: Open Graph tags, video and source elements, JSON-LD metadata, and inline player configuration.

Why does it say no video was found?

Some sites load video only after the page opens, so nothing is stored in the HTML to find. Feed-style social pages are the usual case.

Does this run in my browser like other useSignal tools?

Partly. A browser cannot read another site's page, so finding the video uses a small server step. Streamed video is then downloaded and joined into an MP4 in your browser.

What happens with streamed video?

Many players deliver video as a stream of short segments instead of one file. Each quality is listed like a normal download, and pressing it fetches the segments and joins them into one MP4 without re-encoding. DRM-protected and live streams cannot be saved.

Why is there a separate audio file for some videos?

Some pages link their audio as its own file, and then both are listed. Streams that keep audio separately are merged into the MP4 automatically.

Can I trim the video or turn it into a GIF?

Yes. Press Edit on any quality and the video opens in the Video Editor, ready to trim, make a GIF, or extract MP3 audio in your browser.

Do the download links expire?

Yes, after six hours. Scan the page again to get fresh links.

Can I download anything I want with this?

Only download video you have the right to keep. Respect copyright and each site's terms of service.
